Campus Visits
 

To schedule a campus visit, complete and submit the following form. After you submit this form, you will receive a card in the mail confirming the date, time and location of your visit. The card will also include a campus map and on-campus parking directions.

To schedule a campus visit for a group of 10 or more students, visit our group visit reservation page.

If you’re already admitted to WSU and wish to enroll in your classes, please visit our Orientation page for additional information on that process. You will NOT enroll in classes during your visit.
Schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance, and refer to our online visit calendar to make sure that visits are being offered when you want to schedule. A complete list of available dates and times for scheduling your visit is below. If you need to change your campus visit date, just give admissions a call at (316)978-3085 or (800) 362-2594.

*If requesting more than three appointments/tours, please schedule your visit to begin at 9:45 a.m.  This may also cause your visit to last a complete day.

**New freshmen orientation and enrollment dates. Academic appointments for majors outside of Fine Arts and Liberal Arts and Sciences programs will NOT be available on the **noted dates. Additionally, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Law, and Undecided major appointments will not be available on the noted dates.

What would you like to do while you're here?

Each visitor and their guests will begin their visit with a WSU presentation (45 minutes) and have an appointment scheduled to meet with an admissions representative (15-30 minutes)as part of their campus visit agenda. You may also choose to do any of the following:

A campus visit can last between 3-6 hours depending on the number of appointments you select. To estimate the length of your visit, note the estimated appointment times listed below. If requesting more than 3 appointments/tours, plan your visit to begin at 9:45 a.m. to allow ample time to complete your visit.

I'd like to take a walking tour of the WSU campus (1 hour).
I'd like to see Fairmount Towers residence hall* (45 minutes).
I'd like to meet with Financial Aid (30 minutes).
I'd like an appointment to talk about my academic major (30-45 minutes for each selected major).
I'd like an appointment to talk about my student life interest (30 minutes).

*Fairmount Towers is one of two residence halls available for new incoming freshmen. Tours of Wheatshocker Apartments and Brennan Hall are not available. For more information about housing options at WSU go to www.wichita.edu/housing

How did you hear about Wichita State's Campus Visit Program?

In the event of an inclement weather closing, your campus visit will need to be rescheduled. Campus visits will not take place when the university is closed. To find out if the university is closed, call the campus activities line at (316) 978-6633, option 2.

After clicking "Submit Request", you will receive an immediate message on your computer screen. If your your screen does not change, we have not received your request. You will receive a card in the mail confirming the date and time of your campus visit within 5-10 business days of submitting your campus visit request.
