Are you bummed because CBS rejected your application for “The Amazing
Race?” Well, cheer up! You can join WSU’s Amazing Race!
Sign-up to be a part of this fun and possibly fierce competition. You
must be a freshman to enter. You may sign-up with a partner
or test your luck by letting us find one for you. There will be no
eliminations in The Amazing Race: WSU, but each member of the winning
team will receive a book scholarship worth up to $200.00!
The Amazing Race: WSU will follow the format of the TV show “The Amazing Race." Teams will receive clues to help them find their checkpoints, where they will be required to perform a task before being given their next clue. Some tasks will require that both partners participate; other tasks will require only one person. At some checkpoints, teams will be able to choose between two tasks. The first team to complete the tasks at each checkpoint and reach the finish line will be the winners.
To participate in the Amazing Race, you will need to:
Find a partner or let us find one for you.
Fill out and submit the online entry form (include your partner’s name or mark the box that tells us to find a partner for you).
Be prepared to be outside at various times regardless of weather conditions.
Be prepared to follow the rules provided to you before the start of the race.
Be prepared to go all over campus during the course of the race.
Be prepared to be mentally and/or physically challenged or just plain lucky.
Be prepared to HAVE FUN!
After submitting the Amazing Race online entry, you will be sent a confirmation and more information regarding the event.
Tip: Fill out this form with your partner. Your partner does not need to fill out a separate entry form.
